Louis Vuitton Steamer Trunk

This extraordinary antique Louis Vuitton wardrobe trunk is fitted with the original LV branded rivets, brass hardware, trim and Lozine leather, enhancing its beauty and value. A clue to its provenance, the trunk’s exterior carries the LV workshop monogram stamp of the trunk’s original owner ( C.C.D.) and the initial port destination, (Providence, Rhode Island, USA ). 

 The trunk opens to reveal the original four drawers, the bottom drawer constructed as a special compartment for shoes or hats. The opposite side of the trunk holds a bar for hanging clothing.
