Handmade by artisans in Hickory, North Carolina, the William is entirely upholstered upon wood frames and stands firm on its brass tipped footing. Possessing a straight-edged breadth compliments its curved arms and highlights the puffed crowning of the seat cushion. Construction details:

• Eight way hand tied coil spring foundation with steel strap webbing
• Frame is mixed kiln-dried hardwood and engineered hardwood panels
• All stress joints are double dowelled, screwed, glued and corner blocked for added strength and to prevent torsion
• Seat cushion is spring down with high resilience foam surrounding individual pocketed coil springs.  Foam and springs are encased in an envelope of downproof ticking filled with blended down.
• Back cushions are made of down proof ticking with horizontal compartments to prevent settling of the blend down fill.
